Bill would limit where sex offenders would live

A proposal would limit how near to parks Level 3 sex offenders could live. While the bill doesn’t man-

date a specific distance for the buffer, if such a buffer were a half-mile (2,640 feet), 97 percent of

the city would be off limits.
